They are for people interested in our Wing Chun, but not sure if this will suit them. Some martial arts schools will lock students in with a long contract on their first session. However, this is not how we operate. We believe if you like our Wing Chun, you will come back. Please remember that every lineage trains differently for those who have done Wing Chun from other lineages. The two sessions will let you experience the Practical Wing Chun system. Participants will get a basic understanding of our theories, how we train at our school, and how to progress in the Practical Wing Chun system to become certified. It is a privilege to learn Wan Kam Leung Practical Wing Chun under the Family tree of Wong Shun Leung’s lineage. We are proud of our system, but at the same time, we respect other martial arts, and everyone is humble at our school. There are three types of people who are unworthy to be taught: people who think of themselves as infallible and mistreat others by inappropriate use of their strengths people who lack reverence for teachers and their teachings and show no courtesy to the others people who don't have loyalty, respect for elders, mercy, or righteousness. 2. If you are currently training with another school, stay loyal to your Sifu. If you have questions about Wing Chun, you should always seek answers from your Sifu first. If you decide to switch schools, you are welcome to try our trial class and see if it suits you. 3. If you are not from an associated branch of WKL Practical Wing Chun. You will most likely be asked to start from the basics again. Your martial art experience from the past will help accelerate your learning, but you will be expected to re-do the empty hand forms. If this does not suit you, we advise you not to come and search for a similar lineage in your area. 4. If you have a big ego and wish to prove that your martial arts system is better, this school does not suit you. Wing Chun is a self-defence system. It is about protecting yourself and the people you care about harmoniously. We have no place for bullies here. 5. People who are impolite and have no manners are not welcome at our school. 6. People who are rude to my assistant instructors. My instructors represent me.

We now have morning & late night classes that may suit. One of the advantages of our school is that you are allowed to travel to our different clubs and join other classes according to your schedule. Please check our timetable.

Beginners class. Empty your cup & be humble first. Every lineage has its curriculum. You are more than welcome to trial our introductory sessions and see if it suits you. Please book it through our online booking page. You will be required to start your training from basic again. Your previous training will help accelerate you faster through our system – (or slower) you will need to empty your mind and be formless if you wish to progress through Practical Wing Chun. Alternatively, you can join our workshop with Practical Wing Chun concept. This may give you a better understanding of our system.

No. We are not a combat sports club. Repetition is required for muscle memory for Wing Chun training. We have created a Bronze package for once a week training with plenty of "Open Classes" for those who are time-poor. We now have morning & late night classes for shift workers. Please refer to our timetable. We have released our Online training group program for those who work away. Do not join the school if you cannot commit to at least one session per week. Please save your money & time or join our seminars/workshops for Non-Wing Chun background when you have more time.

Adult: Unfortunately, we do not offer non-members to sit & watch anymore. Also, Covid has changed things a bit at our school. We now run a Covid-Safe plan, and we will need to record full details of everyone who enters the club. It is easier to book a trial class, so we have enough instructors to handle the additional paperwork. Children: As mentioned above. However, young children are usually a bit shy. Parents are welcome to come and watch the class outside of the school. (Covid Safe) Wing Chun is a close-range combat system. Techniques are repetition training for muscle memory. It is not as exciting to watch compared to combating sports. Therefore, we highly recommend trying out introductory classes to experience the training and vibe of the school physically. Interestingly, 80% of the people who attended the introductory beginner’s class enrolled with us.

Yes. Booking is necessary. We do not accept new students while Sifu is away. In addition, with our current Covid Safe plan, we will have to record information about everyone entering the club.
