Youth & Teenager Wing Chun Training
We teach the importance of discipline, respect and adopting a positive attitude.
The teenage years are an important stage of growth, where young people experience physical, emotional, and social changes. Hormonal changes can affect mood, emotions, and reactions, making it a valuable time to develop self-awareness, emotional control, and positive habits.
Practical Wing Chun Youth & Teenager classes teach effective self-defence while developing confidence, discipline, focus, and resilience. Through the Ying & Yang principles of Kung Fu, students learn balance, patience, mindfulness, and self-control — skills that help them stay calm and make better decisions when facing challenges.
Our program provides a positive environment where teenagers can train with like-minded peers, build fitness, strengthen confidence, and develop teamwork. During these important years, positive influences and supportive friendships play a key role in shaping character and building a strong foundation for the future.
Why choose us ?
Positive energy
Parents choose Practical Wing Chun because we focus on developing the whole person — not just teaching fighting techniques.
Our training helps teenagers build:
- Confidence – building belief in their abilities and the courage to face challenges
- Self-Discipline – developing commitment, consistency, focus, and responsibility
- Awareness & Safety Skills – learning to recognise situations, assess risks, and make smart decisions
- Fitness & Coordination – improving strength, agility, balance, and body control
- Respect & Character – developing patience, teamwork, self-control, and respect for others
- Practical Kung Fu Skills – learning traditional Wing Chun principles combined with a modern approach to real-life self-defence
Wing Chun teaches students that true self-defence begins with awareness, prevention, and self-control. The goal is not to encourage confrontation, but to help teenagers become confident, responsible, and prepared individuals.
